ERIK SCHUSTER

Meet our Executive Chef, Erik Schuster – a true pioneer in the world of fine dining. With over two decades of experience in the culinary industry, Chef Erik's journey began in the heart of the midwest, where he obtained his Culinary Arts degree and honed his skills in some of the finest restaurants in the region.


His talent and hard work soon caught the attention of the prestigious Ritz Carlton in St. Louis, where he began his ascent to culinary greatness. As Chef De Cuisine at the Ritz Carlton Pasadena, Los Angeles, he showcased his flair for both large-scale events and intimate dining experiences, earning rave reviews and multiple accolades in industry publications.
 

His reputation as a culinary virtuoso led him to CBS Studio Center, where he served as the Executive Chef, overseeing the corporate dining culinary program. With his passion for sustainable, local, and organic ingredients, Chef Erik's talents were sought after by The Butcher's Daughter in West Hollywood, where he served as the R&D Chef and focused on vegan cuisine.


A true visionary in menu creation, Chef Erik believes in reimagining the culinary experience, not reinventing it. With a passion for blending traditional flavors with modern twists and techniques, he creates unforgettable experiences for every event he caters.


When he's not creating culinary magic in the kitchen, Chef Erik enjoys spending time with his loved ones, including his wife, son, and loyal Boston terrier. An avid skier and beachgoer, he also finds joy in brewing his own beer and crafting artisanal sourdough bread. With Chef Erik at the helm, every meal is a work of art that delights the senses and nourishes the soul.

Many of our servers and bartenders have worked for Très L.A. for five or more years. Clients love seeing familiar faces and they will regularly ask us for servers that they know personally. We don't use staffing agencies and all of our servers are required to go through service training before they step on the floor for us. We want to ensure that you will always have a knowledgeable, professional staff of ladies and gentlemen with positive attitudes.

Experience"

We will send you a custom menu based on information that you provide on a menu questionnaire, but you will always have an opportunity to discuss your menu with our Chef in person or on the telephone. We want you to explore all of the possibilities of your menu and to create ideas as a collaborative effort based on your taste and budget.

 

There is never a dull moment at the Très L.A. kitchen as we are constantly testing, compressing, dehydrating, evaporating and sometimes sphering. For the Très L.A. Kitchen team, it's about being playful with the classics and continuously creating new and adventurous menus.

We love the tiny touches. We make our own ice cream, roll butter with seasonal herbs, have nice sea salts on the tables, provide warm house-made baskets of bread. We know that these small details have a large impact on the guests' overall experience. It doesn't matter if your guest count is 50 or 500, we won't overlook the "TNT".
