With the help of At Your Door Events, Stephanie + Paul’s dream wedding was made a reality. Breathtaking architecture and stunning design allowed for the perfect setting for this dreamy white Ebell Long Beach wedding.

In a gorgeous strapless white lace gown, our bride walked down the aisle towards to her groom who looked sharp in a black tux and maroon bow tie. The couple exchanged vows framed by gorgeous white florals and bright greenery designed by Lucky Bamboo Flowers. The bride and groom were surrounded by love as their closest family and friends shared the couple’s first moment as husband and wife. The stunning architecture and bold white details set the tone for the rest of the evening.

The ceremony color scheme provided an elegant space for the reception. The room was filled with natural light which complimented the white details of this wedding beautifully. Long clear vases filled with gorgeous white and blush florals served as stunning centerpieces creating an elegant atmosphere. Gorgeous nude linen from Stephanie’s Linen paired perfectly with the floral details and venue space.

The couple shared their first dance as husband and wife under Ebell Long Beaches gorgeous crystal chandeliers that set a romantic tone. Guests enjoyed an evening of fine dining catered by Tres LA and dancing to the tunes by DJ Wrex.

Thank you, Annie Bang for perfectly capturing such a romantic and memorable Ebell Long Beach Wedding!

We are thrilled to share that our historic venue, Carondelet House has been featured on Green Wedding Shoes for this stunning wedding that featured gorgeous floral swings!

“A venue built as an Italian villa in the 1920’s, floating floral swings at the alter and reception, berry + gold toned details, a dog taking a bite out of the cake…didn’t see that last one coming? Well, it just happens to be one of the bride’s favorite details from this elegant + whimsical wedding! (Trust us, it’s SUPER cute.) Mallory + Beau planned their special day at Carondelet House in Los Angeles with the help of Orange Blossom Special Events, who made the couple’s vision come to life!

Mallory tells us, ‘Both of us had our “must-have” priorities. My husband is originally from the East Coast, so he likes elegant weddings and insisted on wearing a tuxedo and having a band. I wanted bold florals and whimsical touches (such as our dog making an appearance on the cake), and we both wanted killer food. We were relaxed about everything!'” – via Green Wedding Shoes

Kate + Martin’s expertly design floral wedding is featured in print in The Knot and we are thrilled! Their wedding shot by Valorie Darling and planned by Encore Event Design, was the perfect blend of modern and rustic.

“‘We fell in love with the mix of rustic and glamour—chandeliers, exposed brick and wood beams,”– Kate via The Knot. An enormous flower wall provided the dramatic backdrop for the Kate and Martin’s nuptials, as guests looked on from Louis Ghost chairs. “We told our pros we wanted our guests’ jaws to drop when they were escorted into the space,” Kate via The Knot. The ceremony space transformed into the reception area, with the flower wall still providing a focal point. Linen-free table settings with square marble chargers and dozens of white candles created a warm glow. “We loved the mix of modern and rustic displayed throughout the night.” Kate via The Knot

We are thrilled to share that Erin + Patrick’s romantic Ebell Long Beach wedding is featured on Cake and Lace!

“Erin and Patrick met at a concert during college in 2011. There, at the House of Blues in San Diego, CA, Erin bought Pat a beer and he knew she was the one. They bonded over similar interests; both the bride and groom played water polo, loved surrealist Salvador Dali’s art and had parents that were the mayors of their respective cities. They moved up to Los Angeles shortly after and continued to date while Erin attended medical school. Patrick planned a beautiful and sentimental proposal to Erin, overlooking the ocean in Palos Verdes, CA. A surprise engagement party planned by Patrick and the Mother of the Bride, where both families and friends gathered to celebrate the occasion, followed the proposal. The thoughtfulness and care that went into that day is characteristic of Patrick’s love for Erin. Erin and Patrick planned a beautiful and elegant ceremony held at the Ebell Club of Long Beach in June 2017.”

“Cream, pale blush, and gold only served to accent the stunning vintage decorations and foliage offered at this historic venue constructed in 1924. The event was black tie optional with Patrick playing the part in a chic midnight blue tuxedo from Indochino and Erin in a beautiful, backless chiffon dress crafted by Truvelle Bridal and purchased from Love and Lace Bridal salon. Live acoustic guitar, custom vows, and a romantic first kiss kicked off the evening, as guests then enjoyed delicious appetizers and cocktails from Tres LA catering. After an incredible buffet dinner and thoughtful toasts from both the Bride and Groom’s families the couple and their 120 wedding guests enjoyed an evening of non-stop dancing. Guests raved about the DJ, Tessa Young from Prism DJs, and the beautiful atmosphere provided by the venue. The venue’s stunning lighting and decorations were captured beautifully by photographer Alexandra Wallace, who is based in San Luis Obispo, CA. The couple agrees, it was truly the best day of their lives! They extend a huge thank you to the Bride’s parents: Robert and Michelle Higginbotham and their incredible coordinator, Kaci Mallat from XOXO weddings, for giving them the wedding of their dreams.”

Our rustic and historic venue was listed as one of Wedding Wire’s top 9 Small Wedding Venues in Los Angeles and we are so excited!

“Built back in 1928, this Italian Villa oozes romance and charm. Even though the Villa is a larger scale venue, couples looking for a small Los Angeles venue should still consider The Carondelet House for their intimate wedding. The Villa has two parlors and a dining area that is filled with eclectic decor, making it a cozy place to celebrate your nuptials. Located just one mile west of Downtown L.A., this venue allows for you and your future-spouse to wed in one of the outdoor courtyards and then hold a seated reception inside the Villa. We can’t say enough how excited we are to be featured in the latest issue of California Wedding Day for Nicole and Harold’s beautifully detailed wedding at our historic venue!

“When Nicole and Harold Jasper began planning their wedding at Los Angeles’ Carondelet House, incorporating the memory of the groom’s recently deceased grandmother, a native Shinnecock Indian, was an important aspect. They quickly landed on the idea of weaving dream catchers into the decor, as the protective charm was cherished by Harold’s grandmother. For their ceremony backdrop. Nicole sourced a gigantic dream catcher on Etsy and paired it with a beautiful hanging macrame piece, both adorned with vibrant flowers and greenery by Rebelle Fleurs. Small feathered dream catchers also served as a parting favor and — with the help of their wedding planner Orange Blossom Special Events — pulled double duty as escort cards elegantly hung on the oak tree in Carondelet’s courtyard. The Jasper’s design was a sentimental gesture that made them feel their grandmother’s presence, from their vows to their last dance.” — L.M.B via California Wedding Day
