Sara drew inspiration for the shoot from the stunning design of the Ebell's black and white geometric patterned courtyard tiles. The pattern of the tile floor was emulated on the three tiered cake by RooneyGirl Bakeshop, as well as on the sugar cookies and other gorgeous confections on the dessert table styled by Two's A Party. The dessert table was a gold gilded Art Deco frame full of delightful sweets. Rectangular cookies bore the shoot's tag line "Ride or Die" in addition to the cookies decorated in the pattern of the courtyard's tiles.
The brides were dressed in an unexpected and edgy combination, with one bride in an embellished black R-mine gown and the other in a stylish white suite with a plunging neckline. Both brides wore unique sparkling jewelry designed by Mark Paul Fine Jewels.
The ceremony took place in front of the mirrored mantle in the grand ballroom where the soft flicker of candles glowed all around them. A gorgeous organic looking floral bouquet by Pixies Petals complimented the bride's glistening black gown. The florals were loose and full of gorgeous greenery with red and burgundy blooms that popped amongst the vibrant greens.
The couple dined in the skylit courtyard at a vintage marble topped table draped in leafy green vines and florals in gold and black vases. Printed red and black and china was complimented by ornate gold flatware and vintage goblets. The courtyard's fountain was an elegant backdrop to the intimate sweetheart table. The recurring theme of the geometric shape of the Ebell tiles could be found in the unique place tags created by Paper Crew.
